Almost time!
OKAY OKAY OKAY so it's been forever since I last blogged but I am busy with 2 kids at home and can't find the time most days to get a shower in. I do however when they are both napping in the afternoon and then it's a moment of free time to get the important things done like clean.. laundry... you know.. things that an almost 2 year old really enjoys helping with.. and by help i mean get in the way.. gotta love em though... Christmas time is almost coming and I couldn't be anymore excited!! I am so proud of my little boy to not have opened any of his presents yet. Yess... i'm a mean mom and am making him wait.. now there have been days when he has ripped a corner here and a corner there but he hasn't opened them yet! So when the day comes it will be so exciting to see the look of awe and amazement on his little face.. the baby won't have as much fun.. but i'm sure his brother will enjoy opening his too.. Everyday my little Will learns something new.. lately he gets naked.. and tells me bath.... yeah... and bubbles.. so bath bubbles he says and off to the bathroom we go.. he won't leave his clothes on so any advice on keeping them on would be greatly appreciated.. also he talks and talks.. he says so much stuff now it's hard to keep up. the words are clear and really easy to understand.. i can't believe the way they start out in life and how much they learn in the first 2 years of life.. I am always excited around christmas time.. not because i get presents but because i get to give and that is what it's all about.. i had more fun this year buying for my boys and my family that i know every year to come is going to be even better!! sooooo... it is with that that I will say... MERRRRRRRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY AND FABULOUS NEW YEAR... AND GOD BLESS OUR PRESIDENT AND THE TROOPS WHO SERVE EVERYDAY FOR A BETTER LIFE. GOD BLESS OUR FAMILIES AND THOSE WE LOVE WITH SAFE HOLIDAYS AND TRAVEL WITH OUR LOVELY WYOMING WEATHER.

Finished
Well.. we worked and worked and worked and finally finished the painting and putting down the floors in the livingroom and the kitchen. next we move on to painting the bathroom and our bedroom and putting in the new flooring there and in the hallway. it was exhausting work and hard to get done with the kids there needing us too but we managed. it looks like a different house and we actually like living in it now!! amazing.. we had to get a new stove but that is okay..it was time.. so here are the finished pictures. we got done on thursday night at about 11:30. Uncle johnny and aunt ronee helped put down the floor in the living room and scott and i did the kitchen.. william liked helping too. not much else went on. scott had his procedure on friday and was recovering all weekend.. he wasn't allowed to do much because the doctor didn't want him to swell.. me either so he took it easy.. but here are the photos.

Hard at work
We had a very busy weekend here at the Coale residents. We are painting and flooring and trying to this all with two little ones in the house. Now the littlest one is good because he can't move but he is very dependant so you know. As for the other one.. he is the one who is in to everything and wants to be around it all. We had fun getting the stuff done. the kitchen cabinets are finally painted and Thank God for that.. How time consuming.. we had way to many cabinets.. The walls in the kitchen are almost done.. The flooring is ripped upin the living room and half of it is painted.. we hope to have the new flooring in by Thursday night and the new kitchen, bathroom and other flooring to follow. The kitchen will be done before any of the other rooms because we still have to paint the bathroom! well here are some pictures or our fun filled weekend!

PEE
Just an exciting bit of news.. William has been trying to potty in his potty chair for a while now.. he's gone a few time standing up and getting a little in the bowl and the rest everywhere else... except today he took his diaper off so I asked him if he wanted to get his potty and he of course said, "YEAH" and so we got it into the living room and he sat down.. and he went PEE sitting down.. it was so awesome! I am so excited.. He did it the way he's supposed too! One more step to less diapers! YEAHH!!!

Finding the time!

Finding the time to blog is a chore in itself with a 21 month old running around the house and taking care of an almost 3 month old. Finding time to do anything is a chore to tell the truth. But i just wanted to post some new pictures. The baby has started laughing which is awesome and William is talking more and more and has new words everyday! So here they are. We are all great too.. not much news on our end! The weekend is here so that is good.. Scott hasn't had anydays off for 9 now so i'm sure he'll be looking forward to tomorrow. i am always excited for football so that's another perk of the weekend. William loves to scream "Touchdown", and football the whole time the games are on so it's quite amusing. So have a good weekend.

Diapers
Comfy?Diapers, diapers everywhere!! Especially since William will no longer keep one on. He won't even keep his pants on.. I don't know what to do about it either.. He has used his potty quite a bit but not enough to warrant diaperlessness.. Oh well.. I guess it's all part of growing up. He also is obsessed with his peg board puzzles. he does them all day long and with precise expertise. He is so good at them that I am just so proud. He puts the pieces so fast that I don't even try to to keep up. Little baby Scott is growing so big too. he smiles all the time and is the sweetest baby talker too! I am so glad that our family is complete. I love watching William interact with his brother it is really nice. Scott and I are doing well too. He has been doing plumbing on Saturdays for The Lowe's so that has been nice for him. We have been watching a lot of football but that's good cause we love it! We are in a pool at Marathon once a week and I beat Scott the last two weeks..it's GREAT! Not much else going on.. no exciting trips or any exciting news but we are doing well. Scott is going on call next week so this weekend he'll have 4 days off.. and then on for 10.. he's really excited about it because it is a training experience and soon he'll be going on call by himself. as for everything else.. we are going to be doing some fixing up in our house.. we are going to make it more liveable until we finally buy it from our landlord. we've signed a lease to own so we are one step closer...to purchasing but we're waiting until every doctor bill is paid off. so yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First Dr. Appt!
Well Scott had his first doctor's appointment today and it went great! I knew the little guy was growing but not this much. He weighs in at 11lbs 4 oz and is 21 and 3/4 inches long. He has 5 lbs and grown 3 and 3/4 inches since his birth 2 months ago! He is healthy and growing everyday. Now I don't brag about how smart my kids are but William is doing something that just amazes me.. I bought him these puzzles for 3year olds and up and he puts the pieces where they are supposed to go. he'll look at the piece, look at the puzzle, and then at the piece again and puts it where it's supposed to go.. I'm so proud of him...But anyways! Everything is going good. The boys are good and growing fast!

Potty time!
So we purchased a potty chair for William about a month ago and have just been letting him get used to the idea. Lately he has been going and getting a diaper and bringing it out when he's just wet and we don't even say anything about changing him. He just is to the point where he doesn't want to be in even a wet diaper. On sunday he went into his room and got out like 10 of his little brother diapers before Scott understood what he wanted... his diaper drawere was empty so he kept bringing out his little brothers. So today I got him dressed and 5 minutes after I had finished he was taking them off. He took his shirt off and then came the pants and a few seconds later was the diaper... so i thought maybe it was a perfect opportunity to ask him if he had to go "Pee", he calls his potty chair a "pee" so he knew exactly what I was talking about. We went into the bathroom and he used his toilet for the first time.. I was very excited to see him do it.. he didn't sit down but stood over it and got his pee in the toilet. I was very excited.. he did it like a big boy and I think that is just the first step to no more diapers. I am really excited... i can't stop saying excited....i've tried very hard not to push potty training on him and i think it has paid off.. he made his first time a memorable one because he didn't even get too much pee on the floor... so yippy for the first time going in the "PEE"!!!!! I have to say he has pretty good aim for a little guy.. next time we'll be sure to get him to sit down.. and maybe not.. maybe he'll just be able to do it standing up!

What a weekend

Well this past weekend we went to Casper to hangout with our friends Lori and Colin and of course Jason. The boys got along for the most part and when they did they had a really good time. It was nice weekend to get out of Meeteetse because it was the crazy Labor Day celebration. We also got to see our friend Traux and it was nice to get away and spend time with good company. We got there on Friday and left on Sunday, I'm sure we over stayed our welcome but our friends would never say anything if we had. It was a good time. On Sunday on our way home we stopped at Tough Creek at Boyson Reservoir and did some tubing with my parent's and my brother and his family for the rest of the day. We did some swimming and Will loved being on the boat and getting in the nice warm water. He didn't even mind the life jacket! So when we finally did get home we were glad to get here. It was a great weekend and we all had a wonderful time.
This week has been pretty uneventful considering the weekend but a warning to those parents out there.. DON'T LET YOUR LITTLE ONE RUN AROUND THE HOUSE WITHOUT A DIAPER!!! So the other night William was runnig rampid through the house without his diaper on because I was in the bathtub waiting for him to come and get it. Well, Scott finally had to get William into the tub. The bath went fine everything was great.. I got out and got dressed and then went in to retrieve William. As we entered his room we noticed a pile of poop on the floor.. now immediatly we blame our chihuahua but then we remembered that he had been outside all day so there was no way that it could have been him...so we figured out that William had pooped an entire pile on the floor. Now I'm no stranger to cleaning up stinking messes but I have never cleaned up baby poop from the floor! It was quite a new experience one in which I wish to never have to deal with again.. so KEEP the DIAPERS ON!!! Yuck.. It was funny, sure, but gross nonetheless.
As for last night in the house it was one of extreme excitement... The first game of the 2007 - 2008 NFL football season started last night. I am a huge Peyton Manning fan and the Colts kicked ass last night.. Scott and I watched all the pregame excitement and were seriously excited when the game started.. Goosebumps...seriously! Well The game was great and it was a great start to another season of KICK ASS NFL FOOTBALL...We're huge fans so when the season starts we're all super excited!! Go FOOTBALL!!! Well everyone have a great weekend..
We are all doing well.. the baby is growing like a weed and William is a very good big brother. I get my first night off tonight. I am going to the movies with my mom. 3:10 to Yuma here we come!
And William has learned a new hiding place.. He opens it by himself and climbs in! Good thing he can't close it on himself!!

Poo Appreciation
I'm ready for my close up!
As a mother of two now... I am tired all the time but it's worth it because I have two beautiful and healthy kids... This blog is the celebration of getting William to drink milk again! finally and to celebrate the return of the MAN TURD! If you don't have children this will not mean much to you but for those of you with kids or kids on the way when the Man Turd returns it is a good thing. I have been fighting with runny nasty shoot out of the diaper poo and now the MAN TURD has returned and I am ever so happy. The milk drinking has done the trick but getting William to drink the Milk was also tricky. I decided when I went grocery shopping that I was going to by Dannon Dannimal Yogurt smoothies... I thought that maybe William would drink these.. I never actually expected him too but he did and so starts the trickery... I put 2 smoothies in his sippy cup and then filled it the rest of the way up with milk... he drank it and loved it.... It's pretty sad when you have to decieve your child..but when it's for the greater good it's okay I think. I am proud to say that he loves it and drinks it now.... I thought that the texture of milk was why he wasn't drinking it so we went from whole milk to 2% milk and finally to 1% but he still would drink it...so the smoothies are thicker than any of the milk so evidently the texture was not the problem.. imagine that...just another picky toddler! Well either way he's drinking smoothy milk and man turding again...so yeah for William and yeah for me! Also we bought William his first potty.. he doesn't call it his potty but he calls it his pee so that's a step closer!! Well that's it for now.. Oh yeha.. Baby Scott still gets up all night so I'm sleep deprived but I'm glad to say that it's worth it and I am so glad to have my 2 wonderful little men! and a great husband to share it all with!

Sleeping.. Shocking!!!

OH BOY
William sitting in his brothers swing.. He's a bit big.... ha ha ha!
Sleeping.... what a shocker!!I sure am a tired mom! I tell you what.. it is a lot different mothering 2 boys instead of just one. When one's asleep the other one's awake and vice versa. So finding time to get rest myself has been quite a chore. Scott is growing a little bit everyday and will hopefully get a better night sleeping schedule soon. William is still growing like a weed. Getting in 4 teeth right now and it is not much fun. He loves to help us out with his little brother too. It's quite amusing. So last week was the first week for my to fly solo with the 2 boys and it went off without a hitch. It was just like before except now there are 2. It's not been to hard to get used to just interesting. I am still recovering from surgery but I am doing well. My incision is itching like crazy and is also still a bit sore but that's to be expected. I am not quite brave enough to try a trip to Cody by myself with the two boys.. but it'll have to happen sometime soon I'm just sure. Daddy Scott is doing great.. I think that he was glad to get back to work but missed his little men after being able to spend so much time with them. I was glad that he got back to work but missed him the same too. However, I did finally get the 7th Harry Potter book finished this past week too. It took a lot longer than any of the others but it's a chore to find the time to read when you have 2 little boys that require so much attention, also I don't think I wanted to finish it because it is the last one and it was a very sad time. I didn't want the book to be over because that is the end of such a wonderful saga. I'll admit I'm in Love with the Harry Potter books and movies and was sad to have it finished but all good things must come to an end.. Well other than that...we are doing great.. glad to be healthy, happy, and loved! Here are a few pics of the boys!

Tired but Happy!

So life with 2 children is a lot different than with just one! Thank goodness for a wonderul husband and an 18month old that is such a good boy with little kids! He has been so careful and gentle with his little brother that we are just impressed beyond all belief! Sure he gets his tugs, and pulls, and pokes in but they are very gentle and he doesn't sneak to do them. He does it when we are all in the same room(probably because leaving the room with both kids in it alone would not be a very good idea, especially if you know William... he's a little too curious at times.)
But nonetheless, life is a lot different... Not only do you have two people to love besides your husband you are always doing something.. especially when you have 2 in diapers.. I'm not complaining because it is wonderful.. but I'm tired and still trying to recover from surgery! Scott has been home for the last week to help out at the house and Thank GOD for that because I would never have been able to do it without him...so it is with sorrow that he will return to work on Monday. He is ready to get back to the grind but we will surely miss him at home! especially me!!! Our newest little guy Scott is a very good baby... He is just as his big brother William was when he came home. He sleeps a lot and does not fuss much at all.. We are blessed to have 2 healthy children and to know that our family is complete! 2 is a perfect number and as enjoyable as being pregnant is(SARCASM) I will not do it again! So here are a few pics of the family to show. Enjoy!!!

Family Complete!

Well our newest arrival is here. He weighed in at a whopping 6lbs7oz and was 18" long. He is cute to boot and healthy as every. He was brought into the world via c-section on July 24th 2007 at 7:51a.m. Happy Birthday Scott! What a birthday present. We are glad to have him join our family and we now know what it feels like to be the parents of two wonderul little boys. I'm recovering slowly but surely and Scott has been wonderful! I couldn't be doing as well as I am without him by my side. William is taking on his role as big brother without a hitch, or atleast to many, and love his little brother. I won't be posting for a while just wanted to share the news and a few pics.

Family life

It's been a while since my last entry but who cares.. I've been busy but that just means that I have more pictures to show and that's awesome. We haven't been up to much that is out of the ordinary, just being a family and spending time together doing family things. William and Scott are buddies and that's awesome.. William loves to go outside with his dad! Over the weekend we just hung out with more family and tried to stay out of the heat. We took William down to the park and he loved playing on all of the equipment.. He had a good time!

The yard got mowed this weekend.. Son and Father effort.. Too cute.
We also got to see our good friend Lori and little man Jason. William and Jason played for a little while and we just visited.. Always a nice chat! Not much else to say, had my last doctors appointment on Monday and William had his 18 month checkup too. I'm done being pregnant on the 24th thank Goodness!! I'm over it. William's appointment went well.. He weighs 25lbs and is 32 inches tall.. Not above average in his height and weight but right on schedule. He is however talking up a storm and the doctor was quite impressed. He puts 2 words together and she said that doesn't usually come until they are 2 so she was inmpressed. Everything else looked good too! He is doing really well and we love to watch him grow everyday. The doctor was impressed that he puts words together because it is not something that comes until later in their development so she said he was a step ahead.. What a great thing to hear.. oh yeah and he's cute as hell.. My appointment however didn't start out the best. The baby hadn't moved to much over the weekend and so I told my doctor that at my appointment and she made do a stress test.... or whatever they're called... after 20 minutes of being monitored she was not impressed with the heartbeat and so I as sent off to labor and delivery.. no not to have the baby but to do another stress test over there and to get an ultrasound to make sure that everything was okay. needless to say... everything was fine which was a huge relief... his heartbeat was where it needed to be for the 25 minutes i was monitored at the hospital and everything looked great in the ultrasound... and we know for sure now that it's a boy because we got to see the family jewels.. ha ha ah....
We are fortunate to have friends like Lori and Colin because we are going to be Casper this weekend for my little brothers wedding and they have graciously offered us their house to stay in for the night that we'll be there. Sadly they will not be there so we won't get to shoot the breeze and hang out but it is just very awesome and thoughtful that they are going to let us borrow their house if we do decide to stay the night... SO THANKS GUYS!!! YOU'RE GREAT!!
No here are some pictures of the events just talked about... ENJOY!
Oh yeah... the picture of William with the glasses on is my favorite because yes you guessed it those are Mr. Potato Heads glasses and it was just too hilarious seeing him in them!

Rain... finally!
Watching a little "Bob Bob"
eating a little dirt
Well with this wonderful weekend came the rain that was well overdue. It was a peaceful and easy to enjoy weekend because of the weather change. It was hot on Saturday in the beginning but the day and the weather changed and made everything so much better. I'm too pregnant to be in the heat and any relief is well appreciated. So the weekend was good. We didn't do anything too exciting.. We went out for breakfast on saturday morning and then went to Cody for a few things at Walmart and Ace Hardware. What an exciting trip!! Not really... William had a good weekend though as always. He has been rather crabby because he is getting in the last of his teeth, for now, which is no fun at all! Fits, crying, screaming, not sleeping well.. just a few of the symptoms.. But nonetheless we love it all... Other than that the weekend was just filled with playing out in the yard and riding his fourwheeler which he loves. He loves playing and we love to watch him play. Before we went outside to enjoy the cool weather though he helped pick up the dvds that he had thrown around the living room, he then picked up his toys... with help of course, and then he got his shoes and brought them over and that meant that he was ready to go outside. So that is just what we did.
copying his dadWilliam watched some spongebob, ate some dirt, and did all sorts of stuff he isn't supposed to all in one day!!! Imagine that!
We are getting ready for the new baby to get here.. only 13 days left until he's here... Thank goodness! I won't have to spend the whole summer with a big belly so that is exciting. William is going to be a wonderful big brother and will be very helpful, I'm just sure. He is really good with other kids so I don't think he'll have any problems.. sure he'll be a litte jealous at first but it won't take long for him to figure out that the new baby is his baby too!

Happy 4th of July!!

The parade was long, but good and William loved every second of it. He wanted to get down on the street to get the candy like all the big kids, but since he isn't a big kid he didn't get too.. I know... to over protective but there were way too many people there and it was like 90 degrees at 10:00 this morning and continued to get hotter! He did get his first taste of cotton candy and a couple of pieces off the ground.. They were still in there wrappers.. one of the big kids that were in front of us brought him a couple pieces.. He was delighted! William loved all the horses and the cars, but the firetrucks scared him when they blared their horns.. He thought they were cool until they did that and then his mind changed. I loved seeing him so content in watching as the floats and bands came down the street. He really like the music from the marching bands too. We were in the shade against a building with enough room for all of us and it was nice to share with my family. We decided to go down to the park and walk throught the tents but by the time we had walked the 4 blocks to get there we were all way too hot and had to decided to walk the 7 back to the car and get into the air conditioner... Thank God for air conditioners. But like I said besides the heat it was nice. We then took our travels up to Julie and Mike's house for a BBQ with the family. We stuffed ourselves and we were home by almost 3:00. We all needed a nap by this time since we'd been up since 7 and in the sun for the whole day. The nap was good and now we're just relaxing at the house! Happy 4th of July! God Bless America!
