Hot

On Wednesday Ben Ellis flew an airplane with a friend to Cody and then drove to Meeteetse to go to lunch with me. It was nice to catch up with him and to hear how things are going in his life. He specifically told me to tell Colin and Lori hello, so "HELLO!". He is doing well and so is his family. They are in the process of moving to Romania where his father will begin yet another dam job. It was nice to see him, even if only for a couple of hours.

Yesterday however was just one hot day. I had the swamp cooler on from 7am and it didn't go off until 3am this morning. William and I had a good time playing in the backyard but both of us could only stand the 93 degrees for about an hour before we decided to pack it on in. The pool wasn't even helping, and he loves the pool. We played as long as the heat would allow without stroking out. I nonetheless was swollen, being pregnant sure is fun! NOT. We still had fun.

Today is a good day just because Scott and I are celebrating our 5th year of marriage. WOW... seems like forever. This is our 8th year together too! Marriage is wonderful but it sure isn't easy. It takes everything we have everyday to make it work. but that just normal and I think that we're just like anyone else when it comes to it. We love each other tons but can't stand each other sometimes! It just happens. Nevertheless we've made it to year 5 without any serious bumps in the road and have a wonderful family. So... Happy Anniversary to me! and Scott!

Another Day

Well on Sunday my friend Amy threw me the most wonderful baby shower. It was absolutely perfect. There was good food and close friends and family. I really had a great time. Also on that day William go to play with his cousin Mia. They had a good time together. Not much else happened over the weekend. We are really just trying to get ready for our new arrival who will be here in exactly 4 weeks to the day!! YEAH!! Not that I'm counting or anything, well I am but that's only because being pregnant isn't exactly the best. We are just ready to meet our newest family member.

Yesterday was my doctors appointment and everything went well. Scott also got his teeth cleaned at the Dentist... He hates the dentist so it was funny. He faired fine and has no cavities! That's good news..

William got a new movie yesterday..It's just a bunch of Spongebob Squarepants cartoons.. but he's addicted what can I say. He also got a Spongebob towel which I'm sure he'll have to use every night after his bath. Well that's about it for our adventerous weekend... oh except that William played in his pool for an hour yesterday and ended up naked and shivering but he didn't want to get out! IT was too cute!

Holy Bloggers

Well today I decided to make a blog. I thought that it would be a fun. A good friend of mine, Lori, has a blog and I look at it everyday...well almost everyday... so I thought I'd give it a shot. The blogs will generally be a bunch of nothing about my wonderful family and the things we do but that's what there supposed to be about right? Well this is the first of many... and so here goes..

Fathers day weekend was a lot of fun.. My husband and my dad went golfing on Saturday in a tournament here in Meeteetse and their team came in 3rd which of course is good but not good enough for them so I am still hearing about it. So while they were golfing my mom and I and my little man Will were up woodriver camping. William had a great day even thought he fell a lot. There sure is a lot of stuff for little feet to trip on in the mountains! he's got his first bruise on his head and a few scratches and scrapes but alls well that ends well and he had a great time. I didn't however get any pictures taken because I have pregnancy induced forgetfullness and for the dang camera! The saturday was great until the rain and hail came down but atleast we had a campter to get into!

As for Father's Day.. it was pretty relaxing. Scott and I and Will came off the mountain early because my mom got sick so none of decided to stay. so instead we went to breakfast and then home to have a big nap! it was really nice. Hope all you other dads had great days too!

I sure hope this first posting is a little unboring and will keep you interested in checking my blog. I'll try to do this everyday.. there are no guarantees... but I'll try!
