Family Complete!

Well our newest arrival is here. He weighed in at a whopping 6lbs7oz and was 18" long. He is cute to boot and healthy as every. He was brought into the world via c-section on July 24th 2007 at 7:51a.m. Happy Birthday Scott! What a birthday present. We are glad to have him join our family and we now know what it feels like to be the parents of two wonderul little boys. I'm recovering slowly but surely and Scott has been wonderful! I couldn't be doing as well as I am without him by my side. William is taking on his role as big brother without a hitch, or atleast to many, and love his little brother. I won't be posting for a while just wanted to share the news and a few pics.

Family life

It's been a while since my last entry but who cares.. I've been busy but that just means that I have more pictures to show and that's awesome. We haven't been up to much that is out of the ordinary, just being a family and spending time together doing family things. William and Scott are buddies and that's awesome.. William loves to go outside with his dad! Over the weekend we just hung out with more family and tried to stay out of the heat. We took William down to the park and he loved playing on all of the equipment.. He had a good time! The yard got mowed this weekend.. Son and Father effort.. Too cute.
We also got to see our good friend Lori and little man Jason. William and Jason played for a little while and we just visited.. Always a nice chat! Not much else to say, had my last doctors appointment on Monday and William had his 18 month checkup too. I'm done being pregnant on the 24th thank Goodness!! I'm over it. William's appointment went well.. He weighs 25lbs and is 32 inches tall.. Not above average in his height and weight but right on schedule. He is however talking up a storm and the doctor was quite impressed. He puts 2 words together and she said that doesn't usually come until they are 2 so she was inmpressed. Everything else looked good too! He is doing really well and we love to watch him grow everyday. The doctor was impressed that he puts words together because it is not something that comes until later in their development so she said he was a step ahead.. What a great thing to hear.. oh yeah and he's cute as hell.. My appointment however didn't start out the best. The baby hadn't moved to much over the weekend and so I told my doctor that at my appointment and she made do a stress test.... or whatever they're called... after 20 minutes of being monitored she was not impressed with the heartbeat and so I as sent off to labor and delivery.. no not to have the baby but to do another stress test over there and to get an ultrasound to make sure that everything was okay. needless to say... everything was fine which was a huge relief... his heartbeat was where it needed to be for the 25 minutes i was monitored at the hospital and everything looked great in the ultrasound... and we know for sure now that it's a boy because we got to see the family jewels.. ha ha ah....

We are fortunate to have friends like Lori and Colin because we are going to be Casper this weekend for my little brothers wedding and they have graciously offered us their house to stay in for the night that we'll be there. Sadly they will not be there so we won't get to shoot the breeze and hang out but it is just very awesome and thoughtful that they are going to let us borrow their house if we do decide to stay the night... SO THANKS GUYS!!! YOU'RE GREAT!!

No here are some pictures of the events just talked about... ENJOY!

Oh yeah... the picture of William with the glasses on is my favorite because yes you guessed it those are Mr. Potato Heads glasses and it was just too hilarious seeing him in them!

Rain... finally!

Watching a little "Bob Bob"
eating a little dirt
Well with this wonderful weekend came the rain that was well overdue. It was a peaceful and easy to enjoy weekend because of the weather change. It was hot on Saturday in the beginning but the day and the weather changed and made everything so much better. I'm too pregnant to be in the heat and any relief is well appreciated. So the weekend was good. We didn't do anything too exciting.. We went out for breakfast on saturday morning and then went to Cody for a few things at Walmart and Ace Hardware. What an exciting trip!! Not really... William had a good weekend though as always. He has been rather crabby because he is getting in the last of his teeth, for now, which is no fun at all! Fits, crying, screaming, not sleeping well.. just a few of the symptoms.. But nonetheless we love it all... Other than that the weekend was just filled with playing out in the yard and riding his fourwheeler which he loves. He loves playing and we love to watch him play. Before we went outside to enjoy the cool weather though he helped pick up the dvds that he had thrown around the living room, he then picked up his toys... with help of course, and then he got his shoes and brought them over and that meant that he was ready to go outside. So that is just what we did.

William watched some spongebob, ate some dirt, and did all sorts of stuff he isn't supposed to all in one day!!! Imagine that!

We are getting ready for the new baby to get here.. only 13 days left until he's here... Thank goodness! I won't have to spend the whole summer with a big belly so that is exciting. William is going to be a wonderful big brother and will be very helpful, I'm just sure. He is really good with other kids so I don't think he'll have any problems.. sure he'll be a litte jealous at first but it won't take long for him to figure out that the new baby is his baby too!

Happy 4th of July!!

The parade was long, but good and William loved every second of it. He wanted to get down on the street to get the candy like all the big kids, but since he isn't a big kid he didn't get too.. I know... to over protective but there were way too many people there and it was like 90 degrees at 10:00 this morning and continued to get hotter! He did get his first taste of cotton candy and a couple of pieces off the ground.. They were still in there wrappers.. one of the big kids that were in front of us brought him a couple pieces.. He was delighted! William loved all the horses and the cars, but the firetrucks scared him when they blared their horns.. He thought they were cool until they did that and then his mind changed. I loved seeing him so content in watching as the floats and bands came down the street. He really like the music from the marching bands too. We were in the shade against a building with enough room for all of us and it was nice to share with my family. We decided to go down to the park and walk throught the tents but by the time we had walked the 4 blocks to get there we were all way too hot and had to decided to walk the 7 back to the car and get into the air conditioner... Thank God for air conditioners. But like I said besides the heat it was nice. We then took our travels up to Julie and Mike's house for a BBQ with the family. We stuffed ourselves and we were home by almost 3:00. We all needed a nap by this time since we'd been up since 7 and in the sun for the whole day. The nap was good and now we're just relaxing at the house! Happy 4th of July! God Bless America!

Holiday!

A snack, a drink, and a little spongebob!!

Tomorrow will be a fabulous day. We get to take our almost 18month old son to one of the best parades around. It is the 4th of July parade in Cody and I know that he'll just love it! I am so excited to get to share things like this with my child. Seeing the look of amazement and excitement on the face of a child when they see something for the first time is what it is all about. I was brought to tears over it once just because they are so innocent and everything is AMAZING to them. So I am just excited to say yippy for the parade and for having a wonderful son to share it with! i'll post some pictures of the parade when I have taken some.. ha ha ha... tomorrow will be great!

Could it BE any HOTTER?????

The Jungle
Up and then down...

His new towel that he just loves!

Not much on the excitement front for the weekend, just another hot one that was hardly bearable. However, we did get through it without a hitch. On Saturday we thought.. hey let's go outside while Williams napping, pull the trailblazer on the yard and wash it in the middle of the day. Yeah we thought, we did, and it sucked! It was sooooo hot.. needless to say I swole up like a balloon, but my car looks sooooo nice! We then proceeded to clean out the inside, vacuum, dust, armoralll.... the works.. it look s like new! After William woke up from his nap sometime later, it was time to brave the heat again because he wanted to play in the backyard.. So he rode his fourwheeler all over the back yard and played in his pool and hid in the bushes... what a dork.

It was a nice time.. he's so much fun to watch.

As for sunday not much happened that day. We played outside like usual. Scott had a nap with Will.. I didn't cause I don't like to waste a day.. I play on the computer until they both got up and then we went outside yet again! William was helping his dad pull weeds and got a sliver and some cuts.. but he's fine.. didn't even cry! He played in the pool again and even played with the dogs... I sure do enjoy these family times because they are different everytime no matter if you're doing the same things or not. I'm a luck woman to have such a wonderful husband and a fabulous son!! and another on the way!!!!!
