TOO LONG

Okay so I'm a slacker and haven't blogged for a long time.. but like i've said before 2 kids keeps you busy enough! So just a quick update.. William isn't quite 2 1/2 yet and has been potty trained for 4 weeks and accident free since week one. I am so proud of my little man.. he loves his big boy underwear and it's awesome. He caught on within the first 2 days and after that just figured it out.. It's great.. I was a little nervous on the first night because we didn't use pull- ups to ward off any confusion, but he didn't have an accident in his bed and that was great.. we decided not to use pull-ups because they're just like a diaper and i figured if he pees his underwear then he'll just figure it out quicker and that's exactly what happened. Now as for little brother Scott.. he's not so little he just turned 11 months old yesterday and took 4 steps today.. he walked 4 steps to me.. it was so exciting..so i kept helping him stand and he kept taking 2 or 3 steps.. so i think that is just the first sign that he'll be walking soon.. yeah.. and yikes!! i'm looking forward too it but then it'll be even busier in here... Scott is a really good baby.. he's so nice and calm and really loves playing with his big brother... he's a sweet baby.... Now onto me and Scott.. we are doing good.. he's recently been given a promotion at work so that is really exciting considering he's only been there for a year and half.....it's a great promotion too it gives him a lot more responsibility which he really loves.. i'm still staying at home with the boys and I couldn't be happier.. Scott and I will be sharing our 6 year anniversary on the 28th of this month so that' s exciting for us too.. 6 years.. WOW...

I would post some pics.. but William broke my camera and I haven't gotten a new one yet.. sorry!

Superbowl Sunday

I must say with the Superbowl coming and going it is a sad time in our house because we live for football sundays, and mondays, and sometimes thursdays. However I can say that the season ended amazingly. Now you know that I am a huge Oakland Raiders fan but I still root for other teams. We did pools for the NFL season at Scott's work and so every week I picked the Giants to win and in the playoff pool I picked them to go to the Superbowl. Now I didn't pick them to win but that is because I had them playing the Colts in the Bowl and I love Peyton Manning however, the fact that they did win is so awesome because they worked hard and after all the hype about "the best team ever" (the Pats) I couldn't have been more excited had it been the Raiders in the Superbowl. So here's to the Giants who kicked ass and got what they deserved!! GO GIANTS.. oh yeah and I have no voice after all the screaming during the game yesterday.. it's probably one of the best Superbowls I've every witnessed!! YEAH FOOTBALL... booo hooo until September!!

Atleast we have college basketball and March Madness coming up.. heeee heeee heee!

A little late

Well this is just a quick note to say that William is doing so good with the potty. He's gone poop in it 2 times last week and pottied a lot in it lately. I am not counting my chickens before they hatch because next week he could decide he doesn't want anything to do with it.. but for now it's all the rage.. wish us good luck with this difficult task!

It's Official

Well we celebrated William's 2nd birthday with a big Spongebob Party... It was really fun and William had a great time. We had it down at the Ferret Den and friends and family joined us for dinner and cake and presents!! It was a lot of fun. There were about 30 people there and we all enjoyed burgers and fries, except us eating ceaser salad. It was delicious! The cake was huge and really tasty and there were only about 5 little pieces left. After dinner we went straight to cake and blowing out the candles. William blew them all out and didn't even spit on the cake! Then came the presents. He enjoyed that the most, next to playing with his cousins. He got a new pair of Nikes from Scott and I, a sleeping bag and a 49er jersey from Grandma and Grandpa Flores, some money and the dinner from his Granny Em, and toys and books and clothes from all the other people there. It was a lot fun. We were glad to spend it with all of our close family and friends.

Now on to my 25th.. I'll be celebrating 25 years of life in a week. Not much going on as for a party but it'll be good i'm sure. I think I'm going to be going skiing on Saturday for my birthday present which is really exciting. Thanks Scott.. Love you!

Not much else going on here. William is going on the toilet more and more.. I think he wanted to poop today but all he did was fart. It was still exciting though. He tells us all the time pee, pee.. so we take him to the bathroom and sit him down. He usually likes to play yahtzee(well push buttons anyways) while he attempting to go and then he wipes and flushes. IT'S AMAZING!

Little man Scott is getting bigger and bigger everyday. He eats a lot and rolls a lot and laughs alot. He's a great baby and is sleeping well now. He only wakes up once a night to eat really fast and go back to bed. He's growing so fast. I love watching him grow. He really wants to get down and play with William but that will come soon enough. William likes to make him laugh and we enjoy it too. Big man Scott is busy at work and loving it everyday. We haven't done much since it's been so cold.. sure wish it would warm up a bit so we could take William sledding. Other than that we are all doing well and having a blast with life. I'll try to post more on the potty front throughout the week!

Year 2

Another nap with Boz watching guard!

As William's 2nd birthday is rapidly approaching,(Friday, Jan. 11), we can't count the times he's pottied in his little potty because there have been a lot.. However he hasn't gone in the big potty until Monday of this week. I was so excited... he was so excited! It's going to be tons of fun to get him potty trained. He really seems ready. I know it's going to be a lot of work but I really think it's time. He even has 2 pair of big boy undies!! I'm excited to really get the ball rolling but we'll see how he wants to do it and if he's ready cause God knows you can't force em to do it! It'll only make it worse. But here's to potty training and turning 2!

Scott is getting bigger and bigger everyday. He loves to eat and play and eat... oh did I mention he loves to EAT! We've been feeding him baby food for about 2 weeks now and he loves it. It wolfs down two packages in about 7 minutes and then he's happy as a clam. I can't believe that he's 5 months already and will be 6 months in 2 weeks! It's amazing how fast they grow. I just adore him and love him so much.. I'm glad that William as a little brother to pester now too instead of just Scott and I..

Well that's it for my blogging today and probably for a while.. They're both napping and the shower is calling my name..
